Decals for Homologation
Some decals fitted to road going equipment such as those used to indicate maximum speed or noise levels must be homologated by a public agency to ensure they meet local standards. Standards can vary by country including typestyles, colour and size.
Decals do not need to be formally tested or accredited by any particular authority, it is however the responsibility of the OEM to ensure any decals used conform to the local standard.
