VIN Plates

VIN (vehicle identification number) or PIN (product identification number) plates feature unique codes which usually includes a sequential number used by OEM to identify individual vehicles and equipment.

These type of plates have traditionally been made of aluminum but with the need to speed up the process and with increased volumes Automotive OEM’s in particular have moved almost entirely to self-adhesive plastics such as polyester.

All products can be superimposed with secret codes including bar codes and QR codes. This contains information about the vehicle manufacturer, engine number, maximum weight etc.
